Day 5 - It will Come to Pass

Fierce Friday!!!!

Proverbs 30:5 states Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. We show God we trust Him and His word in our daily choices.  I shared my dilemma on Thanksgiving.  I  have other the course of the past months chosen to drink more water. I found that other drinks have a lot of calories and I would prefer not to drink my calories. Well on yesterday, I wanted to drink something else (like everyone else).  I tried to drink tea and I did not like the taste. I made daily choices in drinking water and have reached a point where water is my drink of choice.

Arthur Ashe stated "Success is a journey not a destination. The doing is often more important than outcome."  We are called to doing what God has placed in our hands; not to bring about our destiny but show trust in Him and His word and to be obedient to Him.  What happens when you are obedient to God's daily calling? Matthew 25:23 says "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' 

Maybe if we looked at the calling God has on our lives as a journey, we will see the manifestation of God's promises unfold over time in various situations. Then, we will find ourselves making choices that continually put us in the path of our destiny. Some biblical examples are Esther, Joseph, Job, and Jesus. Their character did not change even when their situations did; in the end, when the promises came to pass God received the glory.

Rev. Tisha Williams proclaimed that you are fierce; you have said Yes to the Surrender Fast. You are not content to wait to see what the end is going to be you decided to participate.
