My God is Intentional - Lord transform me to be intentional in my prayer life and in my life.
Today's scripture Proverbs 24:17 - 18 encourages us to reject the natural response and be intentional. It says Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles; Lest the Lord sees it, and it displeases Him and He turn away His wrath from him.
Can you remember a child if you have siblings or cousins when someone got in trouble for teasing or hitting you? As they were being chastised you were happy and if you were like most children you started to gloat and make faces behind the adult so the offender can see. And is the midst of them being chastised the adult turns around to you and takes the wrath off of the offender and looks at you. Do you remember that?
The Lord wants you to be assured and committed to Psalm 1:3 (S)he is like a tree planted by streams of water which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever she does prosper. Remember, the enemy's attack will not prosper, your fruit will come in season, your leaf does not wither. The Lord says pray for your enemies, do it because what you do will prosper.
Tonya's Tips
As you prepare in this season for what the Lord is doing, begin to develop your strategy. Tonya suggested to strive for as many nos as you can get. What a transformation concept! Strive for 100 nos to your ideas or products. It will help you develop a better idea, a better product, it helps you become better communicator. After sharing this great tip, she led us boldly to the throne room of God.
