2017 -Day 1 Expect the Unexpected

James 4:10 - Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will exalt you.

Another version says Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up. This is one of the meditation scriptures for today's study and it resonated with me because of the promise.  I tried so hard to be deep with this but the truth is, I need Him to lift me up.  I can spend a lot of time looking around at the current situation and allow what I am seeing to bring me down.  I need to be lifted up.

Do you need your mind and spirit lifted?  Do you need to lift your eyes to the hill from whence cometh your help?   Do you need to get in a place of expectancy?  I do.  I need the Lord to show up in my life.  Let me rephrase, He is here every day.  I need to show up each day with expectancy.  I don't need to bring my list of what is not right and what needs to change.  I need to come ready to be open to the call of God on that day.  I need to be humble to hear His voice, and humble to do what He says.  There is nothing that should surprise us about God.  We should walk in expectancy.  We should live knowing He will show up and we should surrender and answer His call.

This is MY DAY Monday! This morning, I am excited to begin this fast with  Min. Debra Abraham from BIG Ministries, in Maryland. 

Min. Abraham declared This is a new week, full of hope and fresh possibilities. Take the limits off of Monday - No more Blue Monday No more sluggish Monday!  God came so we can live in abundance.  Decide today what your abundance will be Peace, Joy, Patience, Kindness, Goodness...whatever you decide...You must reach for it, speak it and activate it!  Do it in Abundance!
