Day 19 - I Still Surrender

We have expectations for our lives. We have dreams, goals, visions.  These imprints on our lives were created by words that were spoken to us by our families, teachers, pastors,  friends, co-workers, lovers or actions that were done to us or by us.  Or even words we read in books or magazines or  images we've seen on television or movies.  These experiences have told us what is possible.  We are the sums of our experiences and our hopes and dreams.  The possibility that you may be asked to change the imprint can be unnerving.

What is the cost of surrender? The cost is different for everyone.  The reward is the same…Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.

Don't give up your hope…Let go of your comfort zone...Surrender to God's plan!

During surrender, God uncovers the secrets of our lives.  Domestic violence is a secret that many women have lived through.  We pray Lord that you will deliver any person that is currently suffering, we ask that you give us boldness to assist someone who is being abused, we pray that a survivor is able to share their story to save others from entering an abusive relationship.

Rev. Tisha encouraged us at this mid-point to

Throw your Hands Up in the Air and Wave Them Like You Just Don't Care.

Give it all to God!  Give it all to God!
