Day 23 - Your Breakthrougn is Coming Through

Read 2 Samuel 5:17-25 and I Chronicles 14:8-17 recounts David defeating the Philistines

How does this apply to you today?  As we discovered early in the fast, place yourself in the scripture.  

God has called you to higher heights and you have said yes.  The Philistines in your life (remember we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, so don’t think of people think of what keeps you from moving forward in God) were ok with you being in charge of what you have had for the past 5 years.  During those years, you have negotiated and fought with your inner demons, the battle lines are drawn, you know what you can handle and you leave the rest alone. You accepted limitations.

But God is calling for more from you and the Philistines has heard that you are now Queen of the new territory.  So they have gathered together to capture you.  Fear, depression, anxiety, past decisions, pain, lies, poor self-image, success poor money management; they have come to put you in your place.  

You must inquire of the Lord, if I go out and fight them, will you give me the victory?  The Lord say Yes, I will.  

So you attack them!  You set a standard and you live by that standard. You put your plan together, you have the difficult conversations, you get the paperwork complete, you identify a team to work with you, you walk away from what is not healthy for you. You do the work and wipe out the Philistines (inner demons).

This moment will be Baal-Perazim, because you will feel the cleansing of all the old habits and thoughts being washed away from you like standing in front of dam when it burst.  

After that moment there maybe remnants.  You identify them and them burn them. 

Queen prepare for your expanded territory.

Elder Tonya's Transformational Tip was to prepare for your increase.  It is the time to set up your procedures, processes and policies for the expanded responsibilities that you will have.  Develop repeatable processed for your team so you can lead the organization, company, or ministry. 

She shared that Hannah cried out to the Lord for a baby.  The Lord heard her cry and answered her.  You have sought the Lord and He answered, you are pregnant with purpose and promise.  You will have a responsibility like Hannah, you have to give your birthed  gift back to the Lord.  When God blesses you with the business, the ministry, the promotion it must be dedicated to the Lord.
